One of the leading cultural-artistic festivities, it gathers sculptors and ceramicists, and includes drama, music, literary, painting, film and folklore programs.

Belgrade Boat Carnival is a day event organized on the Belgrade rivers and their banks. It involves various activities, such as exhibitions, competitions on water and banks, Belgrade boat tours, boat carnival, fireworks.

EXIT is the biggest music festival in South Eastern Europe. EXIT has taken place at a beautiful and magical fortress in Novi Sad, since 2001. Year after year the number of visitors is getting bigger; young people come from different parts of the country and Europe. Apart from quality music program that it offers, the festival is a place of wild fun, and you can enjoy the cool atmosphere of the fortress and the positive energy of the city.

A festivity showcasing shepherd way of life and customs, songs and dances; girls’ beauty contests, and costume, traditional cooking, and handicraft competitions; exhibitions of paintings, field tools, artisan objects, fruit and vegetable preserves and honey products; shepherd story-telling.

An event dedicated to reaping and harvesting carried out by husking bees. Local and foreign participants compete in the reaping of mountain grass. Reapers wear national costumes, straw hats, and colorful shoulder bags. The best among them is pronounced the winner, or “djidija”. Folk ensembles from surrounding villages wear national costumes and perform traditional songs and dances.

International Film Festival Palic was founded in 1992. by Municipality Subotica. Since year 2003 and its 11th edition International Film Festival Palic is Festival of European films. It is one of most important regional film festival and one of the few in the World with 100% European film works.

With over 200,000 visitors, the Vrnjci Carnival is positioned amongst the most visited events in Serbia. Besides the huge carnival procession, there are also concerts, art exhibitions, theatre performances and sports events.

The TID, or the Tour International Danube, is the most important tourist regatta in Europe, which takes place at the end of July. It starts from Ingolstadt in Germany and ends in Silistra in Bulgaria, at the end of August. The total length of the tour is 2082 km.

Traditional music performed on the frula (pipe) - Serbian national instrument - and other instruments derived from frula. This is a competition, which includes choosing the best frula-player, and is accompanied by traditional activities such as participation of dance and song groups, poetry readings, etc.

A summer time multimedia festival, BELEF is staged in open air or in alternative city spaces. It unifies three great arts – theater, music and painting. The festival explores various city spaces and facilities, contents and innovative forms of artistic expression. BELEF strives to reflect the sensibility of Belgrade citizens and artists in all segments of its program.
